Your Gift Helps Bring the Church Together When It Matters Most
Across Canada, conversations feel divided, and trust is strained. Many Christians long for unity and understanding across traditions, but few places exist where that can truly happen.
The Canadian Council of Churches fills that need as one of the only national tables where diverse Christian traditions come together to discern the mind of Christ and take collective action for justice, peace, and reconciliation. The Council convenes leaders and communities around issues that no single tradition can navigate alone, including medical assistance in dying, poverty in Canada, racism, faith and artificial intelligence, restorative justice, and more.
This work only happens because of supporters like you, which is why your Year-End gift is so crucial.
When you give today, you ensure Christian communities across the country stay connected, informed, and united in their witness to Christ.
What Your Gift Makes Possible
Each gift — one-time or monthly — directly strengthens work that no other organization is positioned to do.
1. Forming compassionate, thoughtful young leaders
You help bring together 50 young adults from across Canada and the U.S. for two weeks of ecumenical learning, reflection, and leadership development. These emerging leaders are preparing to serve churches longing for renewal.
2. Deepening global understanding in a divided world
Your generosity fosters relationships across languages, cultures, and traditions by hosting a 10-week international cohort between Asia, Africa, and North America that explores faith and genetics through the World Council of Churches.
3. Standing with communities responding to poverty
Your gift supports visits to ecumenical and Christian networks accompanying people living in poverty—sharing practical wisdom and amplifying the voices of those most affected.
4. Keeping essential tables of dialogue active
You make it possible for Christian leaders to regularly gather to discuss topics such as racism, reconciliation, faith and artificial intelligence, restorative justice, interfaith relationships, and Christian citizenship.
These conversations don’t happen without donor support.
