On the heels of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity—a time in which Christians come together across denominational boundaries to worship and pray together—the Canadian Council of Churches launches its Month by Month Ecumenism campaign.
Each month, we’ll share a suggestion on how to build relationships among the churches in your community.
Your congregations, your clergy, your church councils and ministerial associations—working together, playing together, living together… to build the bonds of fellowship and the visible unity of the Church. The suggestions are simple, easy ways for you to strengthen, or build for the first time, those bonds of love in your community.
If you’d like to participate:
1. Follow along by liking us on Facebook or following us on Twitter if you haven’t already, and please share our posts with the hashtag #MonthlyEcumenism.
2. Share your own stories and pictures of #MonthlyEcumenism with us! We’d love to see what’s happening in your community, and to share it with our followers.
Remember that our unity in diversity is a gift from God! Help that gift grow and flourish at home, and across Canada!
