Deadline extended to February 21! Now Hiring: Commission on Faith and Witness and Forum for Intercultural Leadership and Learning

Due to significant interest and to ensure we can consider a broad pool of qualified candidates, the Commission on Faith and Witness and Forum for Intercultural Leadership and Learning are extending the application deadline for the two Research Assistant positions to February 21.

The O’Gara CFW Program and Research Assistant provides program and research support to the Associate General Secretary and the Commission on Faith and Witness. Responsibilities may include planning and supporting meetings and events, research, publication and promotion of CFW resources, and ecumenical network building.

The FILL Program and Research Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Associate Secretary, Intercultural Leadership, with a primary focus on the successful execution of the Engage Difference! DUIM program.

Candidates for each position should have:

  • Background in theological or pastoral studies from a post-secondary educational institution
  • Comfort with or capacity to learn video conference, WordPress, Mailchimp, and CRM platforms
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in theological, pastoral, denominational, worship or related fields
  • Experience and/or interest in the ecumenical movement
  • Member or adherent of a member church of The Canadian Council of Churches preferred
  • Fluency in English required, working knowledge of French preferred
